In the middle of the jungle, there is a special dragon fruit tree. The animals call it Devil Dragon Fruit. It is believed that if they eat the fruits, they will gain special abilities. However, they are not able to swim. As most of the animals like to swim, therefore not many animals dare to eat the devil dragon fruit.
One day, a snail is crawling towards the devil dragon fruit tree.
"What are you doing? Do you plan to eat the fruit?" asks a monkey, when he sees the snail is heading towards the devil dragon fruit tree.
"Yes, I need some power. Tomorrow I'll race with rabbit," says the snail.
"Why do you want to race with rabbit?"
"We both fall in love with a turtle. She said she wants to get married with the one who can run faster," says the snail.
Without delaying, the snail plucks a dragon fruit from the tree. When he cuts it, he finds that half of it is red, and another half is white colour.
"Wow, the normal dragon fruit is either red or white. But this one has both the colours. Are you sure you want to eat it?" says the monkey.
Snail does not answer. He just bites the fruit and starts to eat...
The next day, rabbit, snail, turtle, monkey and some other animals gather in a field. The race is about to start.
"On your mark, get set, go!"
Rabbit runs as fast as he can. However, everyone is cheering for the snail, as they find that the snail can run even faster than rabbit.
"Wow! It is amazing!" shouts the tiger.
Only monkey knows the reason.
At the finishing line, rabbit is very upset to see the snail has been there for long time, together with his girlfriend turtle.
