Lizard Egg

One day, Joanne finds a small lizard egg behind the curtain. She picks it up and puts it into a container.

When mummy lizard comes back, she is so sad to find her egg is missing. After crying for two hours, the mummy lizard decides to go and look for the egg. Finally she finds her egg in a container on Joanne's table. But the lizard has no energy to open the container. She has no choice but to wait for the egg to be hatched.

After waiting for a month, the egg is finally hatched. A baby lizard comes out of the egg. The mummy lizard is so happy and she quickly thinks of an idea to rescue the baby lizard.

"Listen my baby! I want you pretend to be dead, unti the girl throws you out of the container," says mummy to the baby lizard.

When Joanne comes back from the school, she is happy to see the egg is hatched. However, she finds that the baby lizard is dead.

"Maybe I close the container too tight and it is suffocated," thinks Joanne. So she throws the baby lizard into the rubbish bin.

Mummy lizard then quickly goes to the rubbish bin, and brings the baby lizard home.

"I'm not your Jie Jie. I'm not as ugly as you," says the baby frog.

"Yes you are. We have the same mother. You are so stupid! Don't tell me you don't know that tadpole is baby of frog. Hahah...." says the tadpole sarcastically.

Just then, the mummy frog comes to drink water too. The tadpole shouts to the mummy, "Hello mum. This Jie Jie is so stupid. She doesn't know that I'm your baby. Hahah...."

The mother looks at the tadpole and says, "You are not my baby. You are a toad's baby."

So the mother and baby frog walk away, leaving the tadpole puzzling how to differentiate between tadpole from frog and toad.

Pitiful Lizards

One day, a lizard is caught by a cat. The cat is hungry and wants to eat the lizard.

"Don't eat me please. I don't want to die," begs the lizard.

"But I'm very hungry now. I need to eat something," says the cat.

The lizard then thinks of a way to save his life.

"Why don't use eat my tail. I can give you my tail now," says the lizard.

The cat thinks it is good idea to get long term supply of food. He then starts to catch a lot of lizards, put them all in a cage. Everyday, the cat comes to eat the tails from the lizards.

As for the lizards, they have no choice but have to give their tails to the cat. The lizards have to take turn to let their tails to grow back and supply to the cat. They have no freedom, no hope, no future. They live to provide food for the cat. How pitiful they are...

One day, a bee comes to a flower.

"Can I get some honey from you?" asks the bee.

"If only you can help me to deliver these pollen to my friends," says the flower.

The bee agrees to do that, so the flower gives the bee some honey.

However, after the bee gets the honey, he throws away all the pollen as he is too lazy to deliver them.

"Wasting my time if I have to deliver all these pollen," thinks the bee.

The flower is so angry that the bee throws away all the pollen. He decides to teach the bee a lesson.

The next morning, the bee comes to ask for honey again. This time the flower gives the bee some honey which has been polluted.

After the bee eats the honey, he is then sick in bed for a month.

The bird doesn't give up. He then builds another nest on a big rock, with some dry leaves and branches. He is happy with his new house and stays in it. That night, an earthquake shakes down the rock which almost rolls over him.

The bird doesn't give up. He then builds another nest on a tree, with some dry leaves and branches. He is happy with his new house and stays in it. That night, a strong wind blows the tree down which almost falls on him.

The bird doesn't give up. He then builds another nest in a cave, with some dry leaves and branches. He is happy with his new house and stays in it. That night, a big snake swallows the nest which almost eats him.

"The baby calves are so delicious. But how can I eat them?" thinks the fox.

The fox then decides to cut all his fur, makes him doesn't look like a fox. He approaches the cow and tells the mummy cow, "I'm lost. Can I stay with you for a few days until I find my way home? Don't worry, I'm eating grass, same like you."

The cow agrees. Since then, the fox stays with the cow, waiting for opportunities to eat the calves. One day, the cow goes out for a while, when he comes back he finds that one of the calves is missing.

"Where is Nana?" asks the mummy cow.

"I don't know, she went out to look for you just now. I think she will be back after a while," says the fox, whose stomach is a bit full.

But of course, Nana never comes back. And same thing happen to Nono. Now the mummy cow has left only one baby calf. Two of calves are gone.

After few weeks staying together with cow family, the fox doesn't realise that the fur starts to grow back. Finally, mummy cow notices the fox is a fox.

One day, mummy cow tells the fox that he finds a very nice grass on a hill. He would like the fox to taste the grass. The fox can't say no as he needs to pretend he eats grass. After reaching at the top of the hill, the cow pushes the fox down from the hill, and the fox is killed.

One day, after eating a rabbit for meal, tiger feels something stuck at his throat.

"Must be the bone from rabbit," thinks tiger.

The tiger tries many ways, including drinking a lot of water, tries to push down the bone from the throat. These all don't work. FInally, he announces in the jungle that who can help him to take out the bone, he will give the animal a special present.

After a few days, a pelican comes to see the tiger.

"Let me try to take out the bone," says the pelican.

By using his long beak, the pelican successfully takes out the bone. He then waits for the present from tiger, "where is my present?"

"What present? Go away," shouts the tiger.

"I'll tell the whole jungle that you are a liar!" theatens the pelican.

"Oh, the present! Of course, you will have one," says the tiger inmmediately.

"But I think there is another bone which is still stuck in my throat. Can you please check?" says the tiger again.

So the pelican puts his beak and his head into the tiger's mouth again, to check whether there is another bone.

"Mr. Tiger, I don't see ...."

The tiger bites his head and eats him.

Fox And Monkey

One day, a fox is thirsty and goes to a river to drink water. After drinking water, he notices that there is a small island opposite the river. The island has a big apple tree with full of apples, probably because no animals can go to the island to eat the apples.

The fox wants to go over to eat the apple, but he can't swim. Suddenly he sees a monkey drinking water not far away from him.

"Hey monkey, do you want to eat apples?" asks the fox.

"Yes, you want to give apples to me?" answers the monkey.

"Look at that island, the tree is full of apples."

"But we can't go there."

"Yes, we can. Let's build a bridge together," suggests the fox.

So, the fox and the monkey build a bridge together with some woods taken from the jungle. The cunning fox actually has a bad idea. After they finish building the bridge, fox asks monkey to stay back and let him tests the bridge first. When the fox crosses the bridge, he immediately destroys the bridge.

"Hahah... I can have all the apples now," laughs the fox.

The monkey is angry with the fox, he decides to teach the fox a lesson.

"But how do you come back here, Mr. Fox?" asks the monkey.

The fox is shocked with monkey's question. He now realises that he has done something stupid. He can't find enough woods to build a bridge from the island.

"Well...Monkey, I'm so sorry with what I have done. But could you kindly build the bridge again? I promise will let you come to eat some apples," begs the fox.

"Sure, but I'm hungry now. Can you throw over some apples for me to eat?"

So fox has no choice but throw someof  the apples to monkey.

"I need more than that Mr. Fox," says the monkey.

Fox is so angry with the monkey, but he can't do anything now.

"Wait until I cross the river, I'll eat you and the apples," thinks the fox.

So the fox throws almost all the apples to the monkey.

"I have given you all the apples, so can you start to build the bridge now?" asks the fox.

"Do you think I'm so stupid to build a bridge and let you come over to eat me?" The monkey takes all the apples and lets the fox to be alone on the island.

Eagle And Snakes

One day, a hungry eagle is flying in the sky, looking for food. He finds a small snake crawling on the ground, but it is too small to be his food. He is hoping to find a rabbit, or a mouse, or a big frog, or a chicken, or big snake, but not a small snake.

"Well, guess I have to get that. It is the only food I can find so far," thinks eagle.

After making his decision, the eagle dives down with very high speed, and catches the baby snake with his sharp claws. The baby snake is shouting paifully when the eagle catches him. Suddenly, eagle has an idea.

The eagle holds the baby snake with his claws, flying around the bush slowly near the place where he catches the baby snake. The baby snake cries painfully. After a few minutes, eagle can see two big snakes crawling out from the bush, looking at the baby snake anxiously.

"That must be his parents," thinks eagle.

The eagle then lower down the baby snake towards the big snakes. One of the big snakes quickly bites on the tail of baby snake, trying to pull the baby snake down from the eagle. But the eagle holds the baby snake tightly. Another big snake bites on the tail of the first big snake, helping the first big snake to pull down the baby snake.

Now, the eagle has used the baby snake to "fish" the two big snakes. He then flies back to his home and enjoy his snakes meal.

Tiger And Doctor

One day, a hungry tiger is looking for food, but he can't find any animal in the jungle. Suddenly he sees a dead body lying on the floor. When he walks closer, he finds that it is a rabbit's dead body. The rabbit has been dead for more than a week and the body is slightly rotten.

"Should I eat this smelly body," thinks the tiger.

Finally due to the hunger, he decides to eat the body. However, the tiger begins to suffer a severe stomach ache after few hours of eating the rotten body.

"It must be the rotten dead body that I have eaten," the tiger decides to go and see a doctor. He goes to see Dr. Deer, not far away from his house.

"Mr. Tiger, what is your problem?" asks the deer.

"I have severe stomach ache," says the tiger.

After some checking, the deer tells the tiger that he has food poison. He gives the tiger some medicine.

"After eating the medicine, you will vomit out all the food in your stomach," says the deer.

"That means I'll be hungry again," thinks the tiger. The tiger follows the deer's instruction to eat the medicine and vomit out all the things in his stomach. After doing that the tiger feels much better.

"Doctor, I have another problem now," says the tiger.

"What is that?"

"I feel very uncomfortable with my empty stomach," the tiger wants to eat the deer.

However, it seems that the deer is prepared with this situation. The deer's bodyguard - elephant comes out from the back, catches the tiger and throws him out of the clinic.

"You have grown up and it is time for you to live independently," says mummy.

So the young fox packs his things and leaves the house. He goes into the jungle to look for a new house. After few days of looking, finally he manages to find a big tree with a small hole in its trunk.

"This will be my new house," says the young fox.

The young fox decides to have a house-warming party for himself. He sets up fire to barbecue some meats in his house. The smoke has caused attention of other animals in the jungle.

"Fire! Fire!" shouts the deer.

The fireman - elephant quickly use his trunk to suck water from river, and runs to the tree with smoke. The elephant thensprays the water on the tree.

"Hey, who spray the water on my barbecue?" shouts the young fox.

"What are you doing there? We thought it was on fire," says the deer.

"I'm barbecuing my meats."

"You are not allowed to that inside the tree trunk. It will cause the fire and burn down the whole jungle," explains the deer.

"I don't care. This is my house. I can do whatever that I want in my house," shouts the young fox.

"You want to live in the jungle, you have to follow the rule here," says the elephant.

So the young fox is being expelled from the jungle. He is homeless now.

Magic Torch Light II

What is the function of green button?

One day early in the morning, Josyne is walking to school with her magic torch light. On the way to school, there is a big python jumping down from a tree, crawling towards her.

Josyne is too shocked to run away. She is standing still, pointing the torch light on the python. Coincidently, she is using the green ligh beaming at the python. After 10 seconds, the python suddenly becomes smaller and smaller. It now looks like a worm. Josyne quickly steps on it and kills it.

"Wow, so the green light can make things to shrink," says Josyne.

The next few days are Gawai holidays. The whole family go back to grandparents' house in Sibu. Josyne notices that there are few hens running in the garden. The little chicks that grandparents bought for her few months ago are now big hens. After spending a few days in Sibu, finally is time to fly back to Miri.

"Mom, can I bring back these hens?" asks Josyne.

"No, you can't bring the real hens into the aeroplane," says mummy.

But Josyne has an idea. She uses the green light to shrink the hens into small hens, as big as ants, and put them in a small container. After reaching Miri, she uses the yellow light to bring them back to normal size.

"How did you bring those hens back?" mummy is surprised to see the hens running in the garden.

"Heheheh..." Josyne only laughs and says nothing.

Magic Torch Light

One day, when Josyne is walking back from school, she sees someone is selling something by the roadside. She goes to see if he sells any sweet, but the man is actually selling all kinds of used things.

Josyne notices that there is an old torch light selling for 50 cents. She thinks she really needs a torch light as she is walking to school quite early in the morning. The sky is still dark especially when it is raining. So she pays the money and brings back the torch light.

Josyne notices that there are two buttons - yellow and green, on the torch light. When pressing the yellow/green button, yellow/green light beams out from torch light.

One day, when Josyne is doing her homework at night, suddenly there is a blackout. So she takes out the torch light and sets the yellow button, beaming on her exercise book. After 10 seconds without moving the torch light, suddenly she notices that her exercise book becomes bigger and bigger! Josyne is shocked and quickly turns off the torch light.

"What has happened?"

Josyne takes out a piece of biscuit and beams the yellow light on it. After 10 seconds, the biscuit grows bigger and bigger! She then eats the biscuit, and it tastes normal. Josyne is happy with the torch light. She knows the magic will only work when she beams the light to an object without moving for 10 seconds. As she is from poor family, where mummy only gives her a small piece of biscuit for the breakfast, the torch light is very useful to help her to eat more biscuit so that she won't feel hungry.

Magic Mirror III

When the whole family come back from zoo, Joanne is too tired and wants to sleep. She puts her magic mirror on her table before she goes to sleep.

Josyne immediately goes to take bath when they reach home. After taking her bath, she goes to find Joanne. Josyne does not wake up Joanne when she finds that Joanne is sleeping. Suddenly she sees a piece of beautiful mirror on the table.

"Let me comb my hair with that mirror," she picks up the mirror and a comb from Joanne's table and starts to comb her hair. After combing for about 10 seconds, suddenly another Josyne is climbing out from the mirror. The real Josyne is shocked and starts to scream. The screaming sound wakes Joanne up. When Joanne sees two Josyne are standing in front of her, she knows that must be magic mirror again.

Both Josynes claim they are real. Joanne is confused and doesn't know what to do.

"I need to get rid of one Josyne. But which one?" thinks Joanne.

Suddenly Joanne has an idea. She remembers two days ago when she fought with Josyne, she scratched her right arm.

"The scar must be still there, at the right arm."

Joanne examines both Josynes carefully. One Josyne has a scar at left arm, another one at right arm. Joanne slowly takes up the magic mirror, without thinking much, suddenly pushes the Josyne with the scar at left arm back into the magic mirror.

After that Josyne is inside the mirror, Joanne quickly throws the mirror to the ground and breaks it into small pieces...
