Bad Uncle's Trick

Daddy and mummy go to work, only Joanne stays at home.

"Don't open the gate for anyone," warns mummy to Joanne.

After a while, a stranger comes and press the door bell. Joanne immediately opens the door and shouts, "Go away, I won't open the gate for you."

The stranger says nothing, just puts a sweet 5cm from the gate and leaves.

After he has left for long time, Joanne is curious and goes to pick up the sweet. She then eats the sweet.

The next day, the stanger comes again, puts the sweet 15cm from the gate. Joanne can still get the sweet without opening the gate.

And the next day, the sweet is 30cm away from gate. Luckily Joanne's hand is long enough to reach the sweet.

Now, the sweet is 50cm from the gate on the 4th day. But Joanne is not stupid, she uses the broom to reach the sweet.

On the 5th day, the sweet is about 100cm from the gate. Joanne tries with the broom, can't get it.

"Since the stranger is gone, I'll open the gate, quickly get it and then close the gate again," says Joanne to herself.

What she doesn't know is, the stranger is hiding somewhere close by. The moment she opens the gate, the bad stranger goes in the house, ties Joanne, and takes all the valuable things...
